Monster City Studios and Magic Wheelchair Team Up Once Again For a Special Little Girl
November 1, 2021
Caroline is a rock star 7-year-old from Fresno living with Cerebral Palsy. She was born premature and has conquered many surgeries for hydrocephalus. Caroline is a happy, smiley 2nd grader who loves all things girly but also loves books and playing guitar. Caroline's mom says, "My beautiful girl has been through a lot but through it all, she is a fighter:' We could not be happier for her.
Monster City has worked with Magic Wheelchair for the last five years, building 13 wheelchairs for kids across the country. Caroline's reveal was extra special. "To be able to do one for a kiddo, like Caroline, here in Fresno is...there's no words for it. It's amazing," Powell said.
Magic Wheelchair is a nonprofit organization that builds epic costumes for kids and young adults in wheelchairs at no cost to families. Their mission is to bring communities together to create unforgettable moments for children and adults around the world by transforming their wheelchairs into magic.
There are currently close to 500 kids waiting for their own magic wheelchairs, so Magic Wheelchair is always looking for people and companies across the nation to donate anything they can; time, materials, and monetary donations are always welcome, creatives, teams or individuals that build are also welcome and always in demand. If you are you interested in making a difference for these kids, please visit magicwheelchair.org today and help any way you can.
Monster City Studios is a custom fabricator of theme park attractions, zoos, aquariums, museums and experiential marketing displays. Fabrication capabilities include, steel/metal, carpentry, CNC mill-work, fiberglass, mold-making, foam carving, polyurethane coating and scenic painting. Everything is done in-house from our 20,000 square foot fabrication facility located in the heart of the Central Valley of California.
