By: SAVING K9 LIVES PLUS, INC. | July 23, 2013

K9 Crusade Concert
A special K9 CRUSADE concert/fundraiser will be offered on August 24, 2013 at the Malibu Inn, 22969 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90265 at 7:00 p.m. With many artists's contributing their talents to raise awareness for those pets with special needs, such as wheeled carts, life saving surgeries, or other situations. The event proceeds will fund Saving K9 Lives Plus. Inc., to help rescue pets from shelters and abusive situations, provide the medical care who have special needs that other rescues are not able to help, and then find good homes for them. Tickets are only available through PayPal at http://www.k9crusade.org/.

SAVING K9 LIVES PLUS Inc., a 3-year old organization, who is hosting the show, was founded by Jasmin Gabay Kimball and her husband Bobby Kimball, musician (original lead singer of TOTO). Together with Manuela Parker, SKLP9 plus Board member, numerous pets have been rescued from certain death, giving veterinary care, providing special care for recovery and placement into caring homes. Saving K9 Lives Plus coordinates efforts with other rescue organizations seek to end over population, abuse and abandonment and provide care to these voiceless animals in those situations.

Saving K9 Lives Plus, Inc. was formed to provide public awareness of the growing population of homeless animals and animals being euthanized in overcrowded shelter systems. Saving K9 Lives Plus, Inc. will rescue animals (mainly dogs and cats) from various situations, including, but not limited to: bailouts from City and County Shelters, from owners who can no longer care for their pets, animals that have been abused, neglected or abandoned and non profit rescues that cannot care for the animal needs. These animals will receive veterinary care, food and shelter and be temporarily housed in a volunteer foster home. Once these animals have been sterilized, vaccinated, cured and/or treated for any illness and evaluated for temperament, they will then become available for adoption thru public media.

Jasmin Kimball, the event producer of the concert, states "Our rescue has grow in a short period of time. With additional funds we can save the special needs such as Teddy Bear, a paralyzed puppy bit by a large dog. We can speak up for the voiceless and save countless lives to safety, like Benji, a 4 month old puppy that was scheduled to be euthanized. We rescued a litter of puppies at 10 days old. We were able to find a home for wheelchair Sadie. It is with your help that we can accomplish these deeds. Help us help more innocent lives from death. 100 percent of the funds go back to the animals!"

The concert has brought many friends together, as artists that have a huge heart for animals and donate their time and talents to raise awareness to these needs and those willing to help. Set to perform are multi-platinum artists like Bobby Kimball (formerly with TOTO), Bill Chapman and Danny Seraphine (formerly of Chicago), Jimi Jamison, Mike Pinera (Iron Butterfly-Alice Cooper), Buster Akrey (Steely Dan), Tamara Champlin (singer/songwriter Stone Cold), Annabella Lwin of Bow Wow Wow), Greg Albon (The Miracles/ Denny Laine), Dexter Espinosa (Union of Saints), Sheri Pedigo, and more to be announced.

The auction will be hosted by Actor/Director Patrick Kilpatrick, a working character actor that has played in many movies and TV series. There will be many unique and collectable items that will be live auctioned. All other items will be silent auctioned.
