Dapper Cadaver is a death-related prop house and prop fabrication shop. We are open to the adventurous public as well as to prop masters, set decorators, haunt professionals and Halloween party planners.

We've provided props to thousands of film and TV productions, including hit TV shows like Bones, Dexter and Law & Order and major motion pictures like Nightmare on Elm St, Transformers 3, Pirates of the Caribbean 2-4, Water for Elephants, several Saw movies, No Country For Old Men, Hurt Locker and more. Dapper Cadaver has also done both stage and video props for such musicians as Alice Cooper, Slipknot, Korn, Insane Klown Posse, Kesha, Brittany Spears, Kanye West, Ozzy Osbourne and Marilyn Manson. We've also provided props for a wide variety of independent productions, student films, music videos and advertisements.

Our props and decorations have also been used by top haunted houses and Halloween parties. In 2010, we were honored to provide props for the White House Halloween party, and have been providing props and décor for Universal Halloween Horror Nights, 6 Flags Fright Fest, and the Playboy Mansion Halloween Party for years. Every year we provide props to both home haunts and professional haunted houses across the country, and have done décor for such celebrities as Tiger Woods, Paris Hilton, and Martha Stewart.Our props are so realistic that we have even supplied forensic institutes and science classes. We have worked with every branch of the US Military, as well as Homeland Security, FBI, CIA, and nationwide police, fire, forensic training, disaster preparedness courses. In 2011 we received a medal from the US Air Force Office of Special Investigations for outstanding products and service during a forensic training exercise. We also work regularly with Canadian, UK, and Australian institutes and forces, including Scotland Yard.

Dapper Cadaver is a mom and pop prop shop, founded in 2006 by BJ Winslow and his wife Eileen. We are located in Sun Valley, CA near the Burbank Airport and many other prop houses that supply Hollywood. We have been featured in Rue Morgue, Bizarre Magazine, LA Weekly's Best of LA, the book LA Bizzaro and much more. BJ has served as an expert on horror props on Something Dreadful, Fearfinds, Forbidden Storage, Offbeat Museums, BBC Radio, Ed and Red, Fearnet and Deadline. Dapper Cadaver has also served as a setting for a number of horror shows including The Echo Game, MTV's Parental Control, The Arrangement and more.
