WHAT:
The wide-ranging visual capabilities of today's digital cameras, monitors and postproduction equipment demand that the camera team develop a strong communications system to capture the creative intent of the director and director of photography. Two DP and digital imaging technician teams from recent high profile projects will discuss how they work with the director, as well as other members of the camera crew, to manage the color and look of the picture.

Specific topics to be addressed include:
• The process of deciding how to use technology to create the look, evaluate footage on the set and apply color correction.
• Preparing and evaluating dailies
• Communicating decisions into visual effects and postproduction.
