Chop Stop Introduces Bean Bowls! Perfect for Location Catering and Second Meals!

By: Mark Kulkis | June 13, 2012

Chop Stop Introduces...
"Cool Beans!" Password Gets You a
25% Discount Thru July 4th

Chopped salad concept Chop Stop has introduced a line of hot, hearty Bean Bowls at its Burbank location. Six freshly chopped toppings are added to a base of warm, seasoned beans (white or black). Customers can customize the bowls to their liking, adding whatever meats or veggies they want.

"Obviously I love our salads, but sometimes you crave something warm," said owner Mark Kulkis. "I wanted something healthy yet more substantial than a rice bowl. We've been soft testing the Bean Bowls for a couple weeks now, and the response has been phenomenal."
Chop Stop's motto about their salads is they're "chopped so fine you can eat them with a spoon." This amalgamating of toppings applies to the Bean Bowls as well. Because you get a combination of tastes and textures in each mouthful, the end result is a "flavor explosion."

To give customers an added reason to try the new Bean Bowls, Chop Stop is offering a special promotion now thru July 4th. Any customer who gives a secret password to the cashier gets $2 off their Bowl, roughly a 25% savings. The secret password is: "Cool Beans!"

Customers can choose from six different Bean Bowls on the menu, including the signature Chop Stop Bowl (pictured), featuring black beans, double chicken, cheddar cheese, green peppers, red onions and crispy tortilla strips.

In addition to their Burbank restaurant, Chop Stop has a second location in Encino and a soon-to-open third in West Hollywood. The Burbank Chop Stop can be found at:
