PRODUCERS GUILD OF AMERICA

Fourth Annual 'Produced By Conference' Sold Out
Over 1,400 members of producing community expected to attend program at Sony Pictures Studios

LOS ANGELES (June 8, 2012) - The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced today the national board and delegate 2012 election results, which were approved during the annual General Membership Meeting at Sony Pictures Studios. The Producers Guild re-elected Hawk Koch and Mark Gordon as Presidents. Other PGA national board officers include re-elected Vice President of Motion Pictures Gary Lucchesi, Vice President of Television Hayma "Screech" Washington, Recording Secretary Gale Anne Hurd (an appointed post), and the newly elected Treasurer Lori McCreary.

"We're extremely honored that the Guild has confidence in us to continue to build upon its 60-year history of serving and empowering the producing community," said Koch and Gordon. "We're dedicated to building solidarity by encouraging producers to 'hire from within,' continue to protect the Producers Code of Credits, and work to improve healthcare benefits."

Members of the Producers Guild are divided into three councils: The Producers Council, the Associate Producers (AP) Council and the New Media Council; each has its own governing Board of Delegates who elects members from their respective boards to serve on the National Board of Directors. The Producers Guild of America also includes the PGA East and PGA Northwest. Peter Saraf will now serve as Chair of the PGA East taking over for John Hadity and Brandon Grande will now serve as Chair of PGA Northwest with former Chair Amy Jacobson Kurokawa staying on as Co-Vice Chair. The full list of officers and delegates of the Producer Council Board, the New Media Council Board and the AP Council Board can be found at www.producersguild.org. Note: The Chairs of the AP Council and New Media Council will not be announced until mid-July due to their respective council election cycles.

A longtime Guild board member and former Vice-President, PGA President Hawk Koch has worked in the entertainment industry for more than four decades. He has credits on more than 60 films including the Golden Globe Award®-winning HEAVEN CAN WAIT, WAYNE'S WORLD, PRIMAL FEAR, GORKY PARK, THE IDOL MAKER, POPE OF GREENWICH VILLAGE, KEEPING THE FAITH, FRACTURE, FREQUENCY and most recently, SOURCE CODE. Aside from producing, Koch also served as the president of Rastar Productions, Inc., where he oversaw films such as PEGGY SUE GOT MARRIED, NOTHING IN COMMON, THE SECRET OF MY SUCCESS and AMAZING GRACE and CHUCK, among others. He currently serves as Frist Vice-President of the Board of Governors for the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts & Sciences. Koch also serves on the Board of Directors of the Motion Picture and Television Fund.

PGA President Mark Gordon, former PGA national board Vice President of Television, is an award-winning producer with more than 70 motion picture and television projects to his credit. In television, Gordon is a five-time Emmy nominee with two wins. He serves as executive producer on the ABC series "Family Tools," "Grey's Anatomy," and "Private Practice," CBS' "Criminal Minds," as well as Lifetime's "Army Wives." Gordon's recent film projects include Duncan Jones' sci-fi thriller SOURCE CODE starring Jake Gyllenhaal, and THE DETAILS with Tobey Maguire and Laura Linney. His other film projects include 2012, which has grossed more than $750 million worldwide and THE MESSENGER, which garnered Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor and Best Original Screenplay. Among Gordon's other motion picture credits as producer and financier are: SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, THE PATRIOT, WONDER BOYS, TOMB RAIDER, TALK TO ME, THE PAINTED VEIL and SPEED, to name a few.

Treasurer Lori McCreary began her career in the film industry as co-producer on the critically acclaimed film BOPHA!, which first teamed her with Morgan Freeman. In 1996, the two filmmakers founded Revelations Entertainment. Founder of the PGA Motion Picture Technology Committee, McCreary has maintained an ongoing dialogue with filmmakers, talent and executives about emerging media, and remains a trusted advisor to leading technology manufactures as Hollywood transitions into the digital arena. She sits on the Technology Committee of the American Society of Cinematographers and has produced such films as THE MAIDEN HEIST, THICK AS THIEVES and PGA Award nominated INVICTUS. McCreary also produced the TV series "Through the Wormhole" for Discovery. Other credits include THE FEAST OF LOVE, 10 ITEMS OR LESS, LEVITY, UNDER SUSPICION and ALONG CAME A SPIDER.

The PGA's membership meeting also kicked off the fourth annual Produced By Conference (PBC), which will take place throughout the weekend at Sony Pictures Studios in association with the International CES.
