NALIP is honored to recognize the following individuals for their contributions and positive representation in media. The 2017 NALIP Media Summit is upon us and will take place at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at the Hollywood & Highland on June 22 - 25, 2017.

Tony Revolori will receive the Lupe Ontiveros Award. He has quickly established himself as one of the industry's most in-demand young stars. Upcoming, Revolori will star in Sony's Spider-Man: Homecoming, can also be recognized for his work in "Zero," "The Grand Budapest Hotel," "Dope," and "Lowriders."

Comcast-NBCUniversal Telemundo is to receive the 2017 Media Advancement Award. Fabian Castro, SVP of Multicultural Marketing for Universal Pictures, will accept the award on behalf of the company. Throughout the years, Comcast-NBCUniversal has built a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Kate del Castillo will be honored with the Outstanding Achievement Award in Television. Recently known for her lead role in Netflix's series "Ingobernable" for Television, Kate has worked in several Hollywood films which include "The 33", "The Book of Life", "No Good Deed" and "Under the Same Moon".

Jorge R. Gutierrez is this year's Tech Arts Innovator Award honoree. Gutierrez is a Mexican animator, painter, writer and director who created the multiple Annie Award-and-Emmy Award-winning animated television series, "El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera" for Nickelodeon and directed "The Book of Life".

Zoe Saldana will be awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award in Film. Saldana has built her reputation as a versatile and respected actress by choosing roles that she feels passionately about. Currently, Saldana is filming "Avengers: Infinity Wars", but has been featured in films like, "Guardians of The Galaxy 2", "Avatar", "Star Trek" and "Live By Night".

Ivonne Coll will be obtaining the Lifetime Achievement Award. Coll is an award-winning, seasoned actress who has appeared in Francis Ford Coppola's "Godfather II", and can currently be seen on the hit series "Jane the Virgin". Before appearing on the big screen, Coll dazzled audiences on the stage. She is currently working on the short film Avowed.
