Jennifer Lopez is the latest superstar to join the Las Vegas circuit. Her "All I Have" residency premiered on Jan. 20, 2016, at the AXIS Theater in Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

The show is 90 minutes of J. Lo at her best. It has glitter. It has a glamorous, sexy custom set. It has male dancers on hoverboards. It has custom-made sparkly bodysuits. And it is All Access's biggest Las Vegas residency set to date.

"All I Have" features a complete custom set designed by Cory Fitzgerald and built by All Access. Credit also goes to production manager Chris Lamb and choreographer Napoleon D'umo. When building a set for an icon like Jennifer, it needs to be spectacular. All Access built the entire set, including the unforgettable J. Lo-shaped thrust, the sparkly grand staircase, the chaise lounge prop, and the rotating moon as the grand finale.

All Access president Erik Eastland, who lead the team, says the most noteworthy part of this job from a construction and fabrication perspective is that the entire set was built in 5 weeks. (The norm is 16 weeks.)

Additionally, even though the show is a residency, Jennifer shares the venue; therefore, all the features had to be designed to fit into trucks and transport efficiently and build and breakdown quickly.

To create an immediate, powerful impact for the audience before the show starts, we built a thrust in the shape of her nickname "J.Lo." The thrust was multifaceted and outlined in RGB tape light embedded under white UHMW, which glowed when lit.

To kick off the show, the team needed to design a sparkly grand staircase. To achieve this, the team built a staircase that measured 21 feet tall and 14 feet wide at the base. The staircase tapered at the top, appearing to vanish into the video wall. Though the structure was broken into nine sections, it appeared seamless; more than 38,000 glass crystals covered the fascia.

For the "Jenny from the block" portion of the show, Jennifer goes back in time to her NYC days with a tribute to the Bronx the NY Yankees. We fabricated the set pieces, including a subway station and two giant Yankees baseball caps.

In true Las Vegas style, Jennifer channels her inner showgirl during a sultry chaise lounge scene. When the production team couldn't find a lounge to accommodate the performance requirements, they turned to us. Our team fabricated a performance-worthy aluminum frame to make it lightweight, durable, and easy to deploy, and we integrated RGB LED accent lighting. The lounge tracked 75 feet downstage on a custom riser based off of the All Access mobilator automation system.

We also worked with wardrobe designer Perry Meeks to design a green-screen gown, which made Jennifer look 20 feet tall thanks to an All Access ribbon lift.

To close the show, the team built a sparkling, rotating moon, which included risers, ramps, and icicles. The team fabricated the moon out of fiberglass, which made it lightweight and kept it one unit, and applied 1-inch mirror sections to make it sparkle. The custom cradle allowed the moon to move seamlessly from the truck to the stage before being flown to the automated Rotex rotator.
