Red Carpet Systems Shows Skills at Crème of the Crop 2011 BET Awards Party

By: Kristin Reichardt | June 28, 2011

The blinding shimmer of sequined designer gowns and heat waves created by flashbulbs faded in the sparkle of talent arriving Sunday night at the 2011 BET Awards Crème of the Crop After Party at Mr. Chow Restaurant in Beverly Hills, Calif.

As Ne-Yo, Keri Hilson and Snoop Dogg paused for photos and interviews, the media wall designed and produced by Red Carpet Systems showcased sponsors including Crème of the Crop Interscope Records, Beats by Dr. Dre, Ciroc and Verizon as it rose elegantly from the clamoring chatter of journalists and of photographers gathered en mass on Camden Drive.

"This is our third year producing the graphics, lighting and décor for the Crème of the Crop party and we are thrilled to work along side such a fabulous organization," Red Carpet Systems Director Florent Sourice said. "We took the back parking lot of Mr. Chow and transformed it into a white-hot club with white flooring, white walls, white leather furniture and special lighting. Transforming a space like that from an ordinary piece of black top to a sexy party space is the best part of what we do at Red Carpet Systems. We get to be magicians!"

The massive event included shutting down Camden Drive from Wilshire Boulevard to Brighton Way, a 100-foot red carpet stretched down the street where approaching limousines deposited their occupants, and enhancement lighting in front, back and throughout the Chinese restaurant. Red Carpet Systems, the premier event production company in Los Angeles, transformed another nondescript space into a party hub the night of the 2011 BET Awards. An empty storefront in the Beverly Center became the site of the post-party sponsored by Cotton Candy vodka. Guests from the Crème of the Crop dinner party moved to the white and pink-infused lounge to continue the celebration.

Since its establishment in 2005, Red Carpet Systems has worked with the highest-end public relations agencies, event planners and promoters across the country to produce events in L.A. and Las Vegas' best public and private venues.

Offering complete, affordable production packages has put Red Carpet Systems in a class all its own. Their services include custom step and repeat media walls, event carpet, velvet ropes, trusses and lighting, banner display, easel board, barricades, tents, gobos, searchlights, photography, pro video, stages, runways, check in stations, and a crew that arrives early and stays late to set everything up and take everything down.

In addition to working with Interscope Records and the BET Awards, Red Carpet Systems counts Absolut Vodka, Universal, Warner Brothers, E!, House of Blues, Dolce & Gabbana , Ferrari and MTV among its growing list of prestigious clients.
