WeCutFoam recently collaborated with a San Francisco event designer/planner to fabricate a life-size Airstream inspired facade prop.

The original plan was to use a real trailer, but since it was too tall to get into the venue, they approached us to create a more modular display.

With less than 2 weeks in sight to complete this project, we worked around the clock to make the impossible possible.



Our customer sent us photos and their concept, followed by our designers creating a 3D CAD file design.

The process involved combining CNC foam and wood machining, CNC hot wire cutting, 3D printing some parts, painting, and applying vinyl decals.

The Airstream measured 8.5 ft tall and about 16 ft long, featuring a window display where a person can stand on a stool inside it to greet visitors and pass out swag.

We are no stranger to creating trade show and event props, decor, displays, and exhibits using a combination of materials, such as foam, wood, plastics, acrylics, light metals, coatings, vinyl and more.
