ESTA has launched its new Legacy of Safety Fund, an unrestricted fundraising initiative that will allow ESTA to establish a board-managed endowment. The Fund will provide ESTA with long-term sustainability and flexibility to invest where financial support is needed most, helping ensure the Association remains strong for future generations of entertainment industry professionals.
"A new long-term fund will free ESTA to focus solely on what matters: continually maintaining and improving the standards, certifications, and training to move the entertainment technology industry forward and help our members stay at the top of the field," said ESTA Executive Director Erin Grabe.
As ESTA is such an integral part of the industry, it is easy to forget it exists only because people continue to invest their time, expertise, and financial support. These skilled and passionate individuals volunteer to help protect workers, promote recommended practices, and keep safety at the forefront.
Donations help strengthen the programs that protect technicians, family members, audiences, and crews, support volunteers, and advance safety standards and practices throughout our industry.
A gift to the ESTA Legacy of Safety Fund helps:
• Protect and strengthen ESTA's future through a long-term source of support
• Keep technical standards free and accessible to all
• Renew and update the ETCP certification exams
• Invest in ESTA's technology and infrastructure to serve members more efficiently
• Sustain the essential operations that keep ESTA's programs running
• Ensure future generations of professionals can benefit from our programs
Gifts may be made, in any amount, as a one-time contribution or fulfilled over multiple years through recurring payments.
Every contribution to the Legacy of Safety Fund helps build an industry where the next generation is safer, stronger, and better prepared. To learn more about the campaign and how to donate, please visit https://esta.org/legacyofsafety, scan the QR code, or email [email protected].
