Proof London's Creative Director Pawl Fulker Presents Previsualization session during 2013 ParisFX Event
By: Proof | December 11, 2013

Proof London's Creative Director Pawl Fulker presented a previsualization session during last week's ParisFX international event. Proof is one of the film industry's leading visualization services houses, with locations in Los Angeles, London, Sydney, Australia, and Montreal & Vancouver, Canada.
Held on December 4th, Fulker's session included: A discussion of how the look of previs is important to help engage filmmakers in the process, what the advantages are to certain looks, and how Proof tailors the look of each previs project to specific creative needs. Fulker showed Proof company founder Ron Frankel's previs work on "Panic Room" as an indication of where Proof started in terms of look, and then showed examples of the company's previs from "Fast and Furious 6," as an example of the look most modern previs sequences have. Additionally, Fulker showed some previs work on "Pirates!," which he did during his time working at Aardman Studios. Fulker also showed Proof's previs work from the films "The Green Hornet," "The Amazing Spider-Man," and "Captain America."
"It was a real pleasure to welcome Pawl to our event, and to listen to his presentation. His talk was much appreciated by our audience," said Francois de Saint-Exupery, one of the producers of ParisFX 2013.
ABOUT PROOF LONDON AND PAWL FULKER:
Proof London, spearheaded by company Creative Director Pawl Fulker and now in its second year of operation, recently completed Postvis on "Captain Phillips," and an extensive Previs project for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy." Proof London is currently involved with the upcoming adaptation of "Frankenstein" and Guy Ritchie's "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." films.
Last year, Proof London made contributions to "World War Z," "Skyfall," and "Fast & Furious 6." Proof London is a full service visualization house, providing the highest levels of Previs and Postvis to the UK feature film and entertainment markets.
Pawl Fulker has been a driving force in the UK pre-visualisation market since its inception. He first used Previs in his role as a computer animator and VFX supervisor in high end commercials, then made the move into feature film Previs with the first of the "Harry Potter" movies, supervising for VFX luminary Robert Legato. Since then, he has supervised Previs for some of the biggest directors working in the UK film industry, including Alfonso Cuaron, Sam Mendes, Guy Ritchie, Marc Forster and Joe Wright.
