Group Represents the Most Diverse Board in NATPE History, Representing All Critical Facets of the Content Business. NATPE - Content First President & CEO Rod Perth today unveiled the newly elected members of the 2014 NATPE Board. This Board is the most diverse group that the association has ever assembled, and they represent every corner of the content business, including executives from studio production, digital, advertising, station groups, international distribution and production, syndication, talent agencies, SVOD, and cable.
"We chose each of these board members because they are at the heart of strategic relevance for NATPE. Collectively they will contribute to our growth because they are experienced executives who are successfully managing businesses during this time of enormous change. NATPE is breaking down barriers by recognizing the interdependency of content, distribution, advertising, the international marketplace, and the narrowing divide between traditional and digital content. We are fortunate that this outstanding group will provide valued counsel as we continue to evolve as a 50 year old provider of internationally important markets and conferences," Perth said.
"Over the years, I've worked with many of these exceptionally talented executives, so we are colleagues that get to reconnect. Their voices will add enormous value to this organization." Perth added.

NATPE is the most important international "must-attend" Market and Conference held in the U.S. This year's theme, "No Barriers. New Business," reflects a commitment to creating a market for the linear and digital communities, as well as advertisers and brands. NATPE breaks down the barriers by setting new expectations and possibilities, and creates the environment where deals get done across every platform.
The annual Market and Conference will once again be held at the Fontainebleau Resort, Miami Beach (January 27-29, 2014). NATPE also produces two other annual events; NATPE - Europe (Summer, 2014) the premier market for the dynamic and evolving content industry centered in the CEE; and PitchCon (Los Angeles) a program development accelerator for new TV and digital video content ideas.
