A comprehensive range of professionally maintained A/V rental products formerly valued at approximately $10 million - including video gear, computer presentation, digital, broadcast and audio from Sony, Canon and other top manufacturers - will be available for sale when Tiger Group's Remarketing Services Division conducts an online-only auction of excess inventory owned by Video Equipment Rentals (VER), a full-service, worldwide production equipment rental company.

Online bidding will commence July 7 at www.SoldTiger.com and will close in rapid succession, live auction style, on July 14 beginning at 10:30 a.m. (ET). Previews of the various assets being offered will be held July 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (ET) at the VER warehouse, located at 60 Enterprise Ave. N., Secaucus, N.J.

"This sale represents a unique buying opportunity for a wide range of end-users, including anyone involved in motion picture and TV production, educational institutions, and houses of worship," said Chris Thompson, Director of Business Development, Media & Entertainment, for Tiger Group, an A/V industry veteran with extensive experience in the rental industry, who will oversee the auction. Key assets up for bid include more than 30 cameras and accessories from top manufacturers like Arri, Panasonic, Sony, and Toshiba; lenses for projectors; and broadcast and digital cinema cameras from makers like Canon and Fujinon.
Projectors and lenses from Digital Projection, Barco, Eiki, DPI, and Christie will also be available, as well as video tape recorders and digital disc recorders from Sony, Panasonic, Codex, Doremi, Fast Foward and Focus.

Broadcast and presentation monitors from Sony, Panasonic, Astro, NEC, Sharp, and others will be offered, along with stands, speakers, and mounting gear. Available production and reinforcement audio will include wireless equipment from Lectrosonic and Sennheiser; mixers from Midas, Wendt, Sony and Shure; and speakers from QSC and EV

Also featured will be video, data switching/routing and processing gear from Altinex, Kramer, Grass Valley, Extron, Folsom, Tectronics, and Evertz. Screens, computers, lighting and A/V accessories of all kinds will also be up for bid.
