BUDDHA JONES NAMES SCOTT CARSON HEAD OF VIDEO GAME MARKETING DIVISION: CARSON FORMER VICE PRESIDENT- CREATIVE DIRECTOR AT ANT FARM
Buddha Jones, a premier entertainment advertising and marketing agency, has named Scott Carson as the company®s new Head of Video Game Marketing. The announcement was made today by Buddha Jones Co-Founders/Co-Owners John Long and Dan Asma.

Prior to joining Buddha Jones, Carson had risen through the ranks to Vice President - Creative Director within the video game marketing division at Ant Farm, where he has worked since 2006. There, he directed TV, online and exhibition gameplay advertising, leading the creative efforts on behalf of such wildly successful franchises as Call of Duty and Guitar Hero, as well as for various Marvel projects.

Carson has been hired by Buddha Jones to help ®reboot® the company®s video game marketing efforts. Since its Video Game Division launch in 2010, the agency has established itself in this arena with marketing campaigns on behalf of such franchises as Assassin®s Creed, Far Cry, Dead Island and Tomb Raider.

ABOUT SCOTT CARSON:

During his nine years with Ant Farm (2006 ® 2015,) Scott Carson earned a name as a renowned Creative Director and video game marketing executive. He earned numerous collaborative industry awards for his work, including multiple Game Marketing Awards, a Gold Effie, a Silver Cannes Lion for Call of Duty: XP, and a 2015 Grand Jury Key Art Award for the reveal trailer of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Before his post with Ant Farm, Carson worked in the Exhibitor Relations division of Universal Pictures from 1994-2006. He is a graduate of Northern Arizona University.
