Pongo Names Hartley Powers as Company's New President and Creative Director: Agency Continues to Evolve On Eve of 30th Anniversary

Pongo, a multi-award winning creative marketing agency for entertainment industry clients, has named Hartley Powers as its new President & Creative Director. Tom McGough, Founder/CEO, Pongo, made the announcement.
McGough, who hired Powers 10 years ago, said, "Hartley is a great example of a creative executive who has worked hard to rise through the ranks to the top. She has always been the literal 'unicorn' teammate that we all hope to find. With her client relationships, and deep insights into their creative needs, she will play an essential role with me in guiding Pongo's future."

ABOUT HARTLEY POWERSHartley Powers first joined Pongo in 2009, initially securing an entry-level position, then quickly climbing the ladder through a range of different positions: Production Manager, Producer, Editor, and Vice President. Concurrent with her 10th anniversary at the company, she has been named President & Creative Director.
Clients and projects Powers has worked with during the course of the past 10 years with Pongo include: Disney, Nat Geo, CBS, Fox and ABC.
With a background in the performing arts, Powers is considered a natural creative storyteller - one whose talents lent themselves at a young age to an innate flair for producing, design, and editing. In her career quest, all roads led directly to Pongo.
Powers holds an A.A. Degree in Digital Media from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, and a B.A. Degree in Theater from Cal State Fullerton.
