XM2 and Pursuit Aviation Join Forces to Form the World's Leading Cinematography Company
February 25, 2021
XM2 and Pursuit Aviation have recently collaborated to form XM2 PURSUIT which has combined two leading aerial cinematography companies into a single, integrated vendor with the ability to meet the specific needs of any production, on a global level. Their mission is to combine services normally offered by multiple vendors all under one roof which allows a production to minimize the number of crew on set, keep the budget down, and have access to the most specialized team members for the job. They have full-service offices, full-time staff and aircraft assets in Los Angeles, Atlanta, London, Gold Coast AUS, and Melbourne AUS, and are licensed to operate on just about every country.
Though their primary focus is aerial cinematography, capturing content from a variety of platforms like helicopters, fighter jets and drones, their technology and skill does not end there. With in-house research and development teams that design, engineer and manufacture proprietary filming solutions, they have the ability to cater to the unique needs of any project, no matter large or small. XM2 PURSUIT have developed a number of in-house multi-camera VFX arrays with stabilized and fixed options, that can be configured to the specific geometries required of any post-production team. This complements their VFX data capture capabilities such as LIDAR and photogrammetry. In addition to this, they are equipped with a number of ground based camera platforms including electric bikes and RC cars.
You may recognize their work in feature films like MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 7, STAR WARS: EPISODE IX, FAST AND THE FURIOUS 9, JAMES BOND NO TIME TO DIE, WESTWORLD Season 3 and more. These are some of their biggest projects, but at XM2 PURSUIT they pride themselves on their ability to cater to a project of any size, large or small.
