  1. Collaboration Between WeCutFoam and Yaamava Resort & Casino

Collaboration Between WeCutFoam and Yaamava Resort & Casino

    July 11, 2024

We collaborated with Yaamava Resort & Casino in Highland, CA to fabricate 2 large 6ft long shoes foam props for a charitable event called "KIcks to Kids Sneaker Drive" hosted at the hotel. The purpose of the event was for guests to contribute new shoes to underprivileged families, receiving complimentary casino play and food discount vouchers in return. The props are to be placed on the casino floor for about 8 weeks, for the duration of the shoe drive. The props included a high top Converse and a Nike sneaker, all machined from Styrofoam, hard coated and painted. We replaced the brand name logos with the hotel logo while adding smooth and accurate details to the props, then delivered them both at the hotel. We love it when we are able to combine fabrications and creations with such a great cause, hoping more hotels and organizations will follow. To learn more about our fabrications and projects, visit us at www.wecutfoam.com call us toll free at 866-664-9311 or email us your inquiry to sales@wecutfoam.com

    WeCutFoam Specializes in Large Events

    June 28, 2024

WeCutFoam situated in Northern CA is not new to fabrication of signs, logos, letters, props, exhibits, sculptures and any foam decor. One of our specialty is creation of oversized signs for music festivals, conventions, trade shows, company meetings and basically for any event or need. Here are large dimensional free standing letters signs we created for LA ONDA, the first ever latin music festival held in June, kicking off summer, with close to 70,000 fans from all generations filling the Napa Valley Expo grounds. The sign made in 2 tiers rize up to 12ft tall and 2ft thick, with each tier being at 6ft. It was hard coated with Epoxy for protection and painted nice pastel colors delivered to the event. It was placed in a hot spot, for visitors and fans posing some photos for a great memory from the event. Smaller LA ONDA letters and logo at 36" tall were created and placed on top of the entrance to the fairground to greet the happy visitors. Have any inquiry for event decor? 5. Introducing Truck Track Invisible Framing for Fabric Prints

Introducing Truck Track Invisible Framing for Fabric Prints

    June 27, 2024

Elegant. Easy to Customize & Install. Cost Effective. Tuck Track DIY framing provides a quick, easy and affordable solution for wall or ceiling mounted graphics and fabric panels. The frame is completely hidden by the fabric, giving you a clean "infinity pool" edge, and it can accommodate virtually any linear shape and size. The Tuck Track DIY system uses plastic frame extrusions, which are cut-to-size in the field and can easily be notched around obstacles such as doorways, air conditioning ducts and switch plates. The fabric panels require no sewing or precise sizing. Rather, your oversized printed fabric is pressed into a friction-tight slot around the perimeter and then trimmed to final size once installed and properly tensioned. Also ask about our digital printing on fabric up to 140 ft X 16 ft, printed flooring, rental curtains and custom sewing. Call us at 800-223-1624 or email us at customerservice@rosebrand.com for more information. Trust our experts to guide you to the perfect solution for your project needs.

Quarterly Report Jan-Mar 2024 Local Spotlight Shon Harris, Mayor and Filmmaker Shon Harris was the Captain and Commander of the Yuba Sutter California Highway Patrol area office. He retired from that and ran for public office and is currently Mayor of Yuba City. He began in filmmaking a few years ago making commercials, short films and PSA's. For Shon, film is an opportunity to be creative, expressive and entertaining. He finds the whole processing very interesting and says he learns something new on every project. He enjoys the overlap between his Mayor duties and working in film with the platform to provide messaging to the community. Often he is inspired to create content from his daily conversations and duties at work. He finds himself envisioning scenes and shots and often writes them down during the day. Shon loves that filmmaking provides unique opportunities to help the community while having something that pulls on and also fuels his creativity. He's also been able to work on several projects with his daughter in this process which gives them more time together and is a plus for him. Shon hopes that over time the film industry in Yuba Sutter increases, he says, "Yuba Sutter is a living, breathing movie set. Everywhere I turn I see opportunities for creative shots". Shon thinks that the region is appealing to filmmakers because of the geographic diversity and adds, "filmmakers can secure almost any backdrop in just a couple hours in any direction." The project he is currently working on is a feature that was funded by the Upstate California Creative Corps. The intent of the grant is to help enhance the lives of, and create opportunities for people who are living in poverty through various forms of art. Shon is hoping to continue his work in feature length films and is enjoying building his local team. Shon says that the film commission is "a one-stop resource for locations, the permitting process, and securing local cast & crew" and "It lends credibility, notoriety, professionalism, and speaks one voice for us." The film commission saves time for filmmakers and that alone is an attraction for them and it also brings economic assistance to the area when there are productions filming. "Having things filmed here is free promotion, essentially, as people will come to see key filming locations of their favorite films." Some advice he gives to people starting out in film is to decide on what it is you want to create, then try your best not to compromise your goals or your thoughts. However, be prepared that external influences might provide opportunties. Shon learned that as soon as people join your project they bring their own ideas and sometimes those will be even better than what you had in mind, so be open. He also encourages emerging filmmakers to "find your Yoda." In other words, a mentor who can teach you and guide you about the nuances of filmmaking that you can't learn on YouTube or read in a book. Local Location Inspiration: Frenchtown Inn, Cedar Crest Winery, and Wild Horse Sanctuary! Frenchtown Inn - Yuba Sutter Frenchtown Inn: Situated in the foothills of Yuba county, Frenchtown inn is a unique and stunning property, right next to a 7 acre pond. The architecture and interiors of each of the houses is very mediterranean, with arches and tiled floors. There's lots of spaces with outdoor seating and even a dance floor space with strung lights hanging over it. This could be depicted as Europe or America, 40 years ago, or current day! A breathtaking location. For more photos: Frenchtown Inn - Film Yuba-Sutter Cedar Crest Winery - Tehama Hidden away, under tall and elegant cedar trees is 'Cedar Crest Winery', a lovely vineyard that serves it's locally made wine. This light and relaxed space embraces it's setting with a tractor static to the side of the cabin, a barrel water feature and 'home-like', inviting interiors. This log cabin like winery stands out as it has an exclusive atmosphere that would be considered family friendly rather than a sophisticated or pensive atmosphere that may be found in other wineries. For more photos:Cedar Crest Winery | Film Tehama Wild Horse Sanctuary - Shasta This open, free and rustic space offers an idyllic backdrop for wild horses to roam and run. Any project that requires a small-town, barn location should take a further look. Modest and sweet, Shasta's 'Wild Horse Sanctuary' has fields with white blossoms and many vibrant trees. The property also offers a few dark wood cabins that overlook the sanctuary's personal pond, effortlessly meshing with it's surroundings and the old Californian essence we see in the Northern CA region. For More Photos: Wild Horse Sanctuary - Film Shasta Ask about our local incentive program which can offer up to $50,000 for qualifying productions! Photo highlights from the last few months!
