Spring is off to a busy start here at Studio Technical Services. As events, activations, and productions ramp up across Los Angeles and beyond, our team has been hard at work delivering reliable internet, Wi-Fi, and technical infrastructure for press junkets, experiential events, and industry gatherings. In this update, we're sharing a few recent highlights, some behind-the-scenes moments from the field, and a look at new tools and capabilities we're bringing online to support our clients in 2026.
Johnson Valley, CA - Studio Technical Services (Studio Tech) recently delivered a fully redundant remote connectivity platform for Morning Walk, the media team supporting Optima Batteries at the King of the Hammers off-road race, demonstrating how modern productions can operate with enterprise-grade infrastructure in remote environments.
Using a 30-foot tower trailer as an elevated communications hub, Studio Tech deployed a Peplink bonded router aggregating three Starlink High Performance terminals to provide high-bandwidth satellite connectivity capable of supporting continuous high-resolution photo and video uploads to cloud-based workflows.
Starlink Mini terminals with magnetic vehicle mounts enabled chase teams to transmit content directly from the course. A Motorola two-way radio system with an elevated base station antenna provided extended-range voice coordination across the race footprint.

Studio Technical Services Inc. was proud to support The Recording Academy's Grammy House, the official offsite venue during The Grammy Awards week, hosted at Rolling Greens on Mateo in Los Angeles.
Our team designed and deployed a dedicated internet and Wi-Fi network to support seamless connectivity for Recording Academy staff, production teams, and the many artists, creators, and industry guests moving through the space throughout the week. From daytime programming and panels to evening entertainment, reliable connectivity kept operations, media workflows, and guest services running smoothly.

Studio Technical Services supported the press junket for Wuthering Heights, hosted at the historic Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills. Our team deployed dedicated internet and Wi-Fi infrastructure to support Warner Bros., production staff, and the international press covering the event.
In addition to keeping the venue connected, we facilitated the rapid movement of terabytes of media content from the site to news organizations around the world-ensuring interviews, photos, and video assets could move from the junket floor to global distribution pipelines without delay. Press junkets are fast-paced environments where reliable connectivity is critical.

Studio Technical Services was glad to be back at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) supporting our longtime partners at Location Connect and the incredible team at NXP Semiconductors.
Studio Technical Services worked alongside Location Connect to help design, implement, and support the network infrastructure powering NXP's booth-ensuring reliable connectivity for live technology demonstrations, internal operations, and media activity throughout the show. One of the highlights was supporting a live global stream from the NXP CEO to more than 33,000 employees worldwide, where dependable connectivity and real-time monitoring were critical to making the moment seamless.

From Hollywood premieres to corporate activations, Studio Tech continues to deliver enterprise-grade Wi-Fi, bonded internet, Starlink Business, and on-site support for productions, live events, E-sports events, and brand experiences across the country.
