Scroggins Aviation Mock-Ups & Props provided three retired jet liners for the Paramount film titled FLIGHT starring Denzel Washington, John Goodman and Don Cheadle, just to name a few. The 1st plane Scroggins supplied was a retired ex-American Airlines MD-82 and the cockpit of an ex-Delta Air Lines MD88 for the crash scene. The aircraft sections were broken up per the director Robert Zemeckis' request. Once done the large sections were transported over 2,000 miles via truck to Atlanta, Georgia and then assembled on site. The 2nd plane to be used as the "Hero set" was built & fabricated at Scroggins facility in Mojave, Calif. (airport) before being shipped to Atlanta. The cockpit main instrument panel was fitted with digital displays to give to the newer look of the airplane. These are the sections in which Denzel and the other cast members and extras would act out their roles....

Scroggins Aviation, specializing in larger commercial aircraft, has provided mockups and fabrication builds for Oblivion (2013) starring Tom Cruise, where an old retired airliner fuselage was turned into a spacecraft; ABCs "Pan Am" (14 episodes) and also provided an old retired Boeing 767 jetliner for NBC's series "THE EVENT" (Aired 2011)- this was the largest project for the company involving the move of a complete airplane to a remote desert site. Scroggins Aviation was featured in January issue of Airways Magazine covering FLIGHT, Oblivion and "Pan Am" along with others mockups and builds the company did.
