California On Location Awards Finalists Announced by Film Liaisons in California Statewide<br />
As the milestone 21st annual California On Location Awards (COLA) which honors the vital contributions of location professionals in film and television production approaches on October 11, 2015, the Film Liaisons In California Statewide (FLICS) have announced finalists in the various awards categories. From this field of worthy professionals who have done exemplary work, a judging panel of entertainment industry members selects the final award recipients to be revealed at the COLA ceremony. Public employees are also honored for their valuable assistance in going above-and-beyond to facilitate production in their jurisdictions. The COLAs will be presented during a gala red carpet ceremony at the Beverly Hilton hotel before a large audience of show business professionals, studio executives and community leaders.

Since its origin in 1995 this award ceremony has grown each year in prestige now having found a long term home at the Beverly Hilton, scene of the Golden Globes and many historic Hollywood events. As a premier awards program and the first to honor location work, COLA is a signature event of the Film Liaisons In California Statewide (FLICS), a professional organization of 42 regional film offices and film commissions throughoutthe state.

FLICS film offices have taken a leadership role in promoting California's entertainment industry and they provide valuable location support and resources to the state's production industry. Learn more about the FLICS at www.filmcalifornia.com .
