All those wishing to engage in motion picture, radio and television production (e.g., feature films and non-current news radio and television shows), and/or commercial still photography activity (e.g., photos to be used for commercial ads in various publications, such as magazines or catalogs) within the City limits must complete a Film/Still Photo Permit application by 5:00 pm at least four full working days in advance of the scheduled start date. The Film/Still Photo Permit process is intended to regulate motion picture, radio, television, and commercial still photography as a business activity in the City. It is not intended to regulate private video and photography performed by individuals for their personal or non-commercial uses or purposes.
