Tinhorn Flats Brings Contemporary Cowboy Fare to Hollywood

Tinhorn Flats Brings Contemporary CowboyFare to Hollywood
Burbanks' Burger Bastion Finds a New Home on the Range at Hollywood & Highland. Tinhorn Flats, Burbank's oldest watering hole famous for its swinging saloon doors and Western vibe, has opened a second more spacious and sophisticated location in the heart of Hollywood. Serving breakfast lunch and dinner, Tinhorn Flats is poised to become Hollywood's next great bar serving up delicious, approachable fare, including an impressive array of darn good burgers.

Owned and designed by celebrated photo industry veteran, Baret Lepejian, Tinhorn Flats is perfect for everyone from local Hollywood residents to destination diners looking for an effortlessly upbeat evening of fun, food and libations. Tinhorn Flats maximizes Lepejian's strong eye for detail and talent for art direction, which he garnered from his many years of success at Isgo/A & I, his family's photography and print development businesses.

The new location's expanded menu marries saloon classics with contemporary cowboy fare to result in a sumptuous selection of salads, sandwiches and shareable plates, along with the restaurant's renowned selection of ten different cheeseburgers, ranging from Drive Thru Style with ketchup, mustard, pickles, onions and cheddar to the Mushroom Bleu with sauté ed mushrooms & dry bleu cheese.

Not to be missed are Tinhorn's saloon specialties, like the Homemade Wagon Train Chili-served in a bowl or in the open-faced Chili Size!; the Pork Chop Dinner with mashed potatoes, 2 types of gravy, and fresh seasonal vegetable; and BBQ Baby Back Ribs covered in zesty BBQ sauce, served with steak fries and homemade coleslaw. Desserts like the Smores Crème Brulee with marshmallow & graham cracker crust and Lava Cake allow guests to indulge in the spirit of the space.

Guests can look forward to options like the Hearty Steak & Eggs (charbroiled rib-eye steak with 2 farm fresh eggs, home fried potatoes and wheat toast), Huevos Rancheros and the Breakfast Burrito with breakfast served all day at Tinhorn Flats.

And no proper saloon would be complete without a full bar: Tinhorn Flats offers a variety of cocktails, wines and beers on tap. For those looking to rein in their wallets, all drinks at Tinhorn Flats are reduced by $2 during happy hour, which runs everyday from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. Daily specials on the food frontier include Sunday's 2 for 1 Appetizers, Tuesday's Hard Shell Tacos for $1.50, and Saturday's 10-Ounce Ribeye Steak- a bargain at just $12.

Lepejian's nuanced eye informs every detail in the 190-seat, multi-level space. Reclaimed wood paneling, hand-crafted cabinetry and antler chandeliers offer a sleek yet rugged feel, while giving a nod to the original Burbank location's kitchy western feel. Also playing to the restaurant's western roots are glass-blown chandeliers reminiscent of a sunset and vintage daguerreotypes mounted on the walls and ceiling sourced from Lepejian's Isgo/A&I Studios.

Located at 1724 N. Highland Ave across from the Hollywood and Highland Complex, Tinhorn Flats Hollywood is open for lunch and dinner service Monday through Thursday from 11:00am to 12:00am; Friday and Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00am; and Sunday from 11:00am to 11:00pm. Tinhorn Flats also offers free WiFi internet access and is available for private parties, catering, and filming. For more information, please visit www.tinhornflatshollywood.com.
