Since 2009, Kids In The Spotlight [KITS] has empowered youth impacted by the foster system to heal from trauma through transformative arts education. In 2023 KITS launched the Production Studio with Purpose [PSWP] in Van Nuys, CA to help change the life outcomes for youth in and from foster care by increasing career readiness, social capital, and resiliency.

PSWP is a 5330-square-foot facility with a courtroom, hospital room, a jail cell, a podcast set/ green screen, a conference room, a hair and makeup room and a working elevator. As part of our workforce development program, each 12-hour production rental includes two trained youth production assistants to help with your project. We have standing sets, camera, lighting, audio, and other rental equipment. This is a great space for a short film or documentary. Need a space to film your auditions or social media content? Maybe you need a space for table reads or a casting call. You can use our courtroom set or our conference room set. Whatever your project, your support of our studio will help provide job opportunities for youth impacted by foster care.
