The Third Rail Studios Summer 2021 Virtual Film Internship Program
By: Third Rail Studios | March 18, 2021
The Third Rail Studios Summer 2021 Virtual Film Internship Program application period is now open. Submissions must be received by May 10th. The program is now virtual due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic but we are determined to offer our interns the same learning experiences as before!
The Third Rail Studios Internship Program provides students with the opportunity to learn about all facets of the film & television industry by exposing them to a wide range of practical and relevant experiences. Interns will: 1) Learn about day to day operations at a physical production studio through virtual sessions and tours, 2) virtually interact with and shadow specific departments of a film and/or TV show during pre-production and production, 3) Read scripts and provide script coverage, 4) Attend virtual roundtables with industry professionals, 5) Receive virtual one on one time with studio executives to receive feedback and discuss career objectives and game plan and (6) Produce a short film that could potentially be submitted to the Atlanta Film Festival.
You must be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled in a higher education institution in the United States to apply. Please note that this is an unpaid internship program and that Third Rail Studios has reviewed and acknowledges the guidelines set by the Department of Labor.
If you have any questions, please contact Mayra Garcia at mayra@thirdrailstudios.com.
