19th Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival Brings the Best of Latino Cinema To San Diego/Tijuana Border Region!

San Diego, CA - MEDIA ARTS Center San Diego announces the arrival of the prestigious and internationally recognized San Diego Latino Film Festival, now celebrating its 19th edition. Over 20,000 festival attendees, 160 entertaining & award-winning movies, special guest celebrities, recognized filmmakers, industry professionals, artists, and musicians for all ages and tastes will gather from March 8 - 18, 2012 at the UltraStar Mission Valley Cinemas Hazard Center (just steps from San Diego Trolley's Hazard Center Station).
A few of the confirmed feature films to be screened at the 11-day, 19th Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival include: America starring Edward James Olmos, El Cielo en tu Mirada starring Jaime Camil, La Otra Familia starring Jorge Salinas and Carmen Salinas, and El Sueno de Ivan starring Academy Award Nominee Demián Bichir! A complete list of features and film screening schedule to be announced February 15, 2012.
San Diego Latino Film Festival is much more than just film screenings. SDLFF 2012 will include special showcases of US Latino Cinema, New Chilean Directors, Jewish Latino Cinema, Documania, Cine Gay, Cine'Mation; Tributes, Workshops, live musical performances, Para la Familia events, and much more.
