Theatrical Labor (Stagehands) For Event Production
Theatrical labor like a stagehand is a person who works behind the scenes backstage in theatre, film, TV or on location at a performance venue. As part of the crew, stagehands are the theatrical labor for setting up scenery, lighting, sound equipment, props, rigging and special effects for a production. Theatrical labor or stagehands often also operate the systems during shows or taping, as well as repair and maintain the equipment. Theatrical labor or stagehands are often I.A.T.S.E. union members, and may be employed on a freelance basis.
