INDUSTRY FIRST - Giggster Launches AI-based Image Recognition for Filming Locations Search
Santa Monica, CA - Giggster, a Silicon Beach startup, has released an exciting new feature for their web-based filming locations platform - image recognition search. Powered by an AI-based algorithm similar to the one used for Google's image search, the technology allows producers and scouts to instantly view the specific areas of a location that they require for a shoot.

Traditionally, when searching through a location library for a specific feature, such as a pool, your filtered results would show you every home that has a pool somewhere on the property. You may need to scroll through 100 other photos before you can see what the pool actually looks like. Giggster's image recognition solves this problem. The search technology instantly predicts the color and shape of pools, kitchens, bedrooms and yards, and generates results of exactly what you want to see. Now you can browse 100 pools from 100 locations in a matter of minutes.

"We see this technology as a complete game changer", says Yuri Baranov, CEO of Giggster. "Our goal from day one was to simplify the location industry, and make it faster and easier to find great spaces for film photoshoots. Image recognition is a big step toward that goal and something that I think producers and scouts will really appreciate."
