FLEX CREATIVE ACQUIRES SUCHAGOODDOG: Clients include Fox, ABC, Freeform and Reelz Network to FLEX
Burbank, CA - FLEX Creative, a creative services agency specializing in the design and production of promotional and in-show content for broadcast television, cable and streaming industry clients, has acquired SuchAGoodDog, the Emmy-nominated marketing, promotions, and production company. The acquisition brings new clients Fox, ABC, Freeform and Reelz Network to FLEX.

The announcement was made jointly today by Peter Martin, Founder/Chief Creative Director, FLEX Creative, and Steve Silverman, Founder/Chief Creative Director, SuchAGoodDog.

Silverman, an award winning, critically acclaimed writer, producer and director of high profile marketing campaigns for television series, specials and movies, is now Vice President of Marketing and Creative for FLEX Creative. He has worked on creative marketing campaigns for such high profile television projects as "Empire," Fox's "Rocky Horror Picture Show," "Gotham," "American Idol," "Baby Daddy," "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy," The World Series, and many others.

Silverman is also considered a leader within the independent web series community, having produced the shows "Pretty," "The Inn," and "Winterthorne" among his high profile online projects.

"We are actively in expansion mode, and we are thrilled to have Steve's creative chops here now at FLEX," said Mr. Martin. "We are especially excited about what Steve brings to the table in the area of original content. One of our goals for FLEX Creative in the coming year is to begin to regularly create and produce online and linear content. Steve's the right guy for the job."

Adds Mr. Silverman, "I am thrilled to be working with my longtime friend Peter Martin and the terrific team he's brought together at FLEX. As the world of original content continues to grow, there are so many new areas to explore. I can't wait to see where we go next, and I'm excited to help FLEX lead the way."

ABOUT STEVE SILVERMAN:

Steve Silverman has more than 18 years of marketing and promotions experience. In 2012, he launched SuchAGoodDog, as his own marketing, promotions, and production company. His clients with that company included FOX, ABC, ABC Family/Freeform, Reelz Network and more. Among SuchAGoodDog's client projects were promotional campaigns on the smash hits "Empire" and "American Idol," as well as "Baby Daddy," "Melissa & Joey," and many others. SuchAGoodDog also served as marketing creative consultant for several web series, an author, the launch of the Grand Idyllwild Lodge, and Super People.

Recently, Silverman oversaw marketing and promo creative for Freeform, working on "Baby Daddy," "Young & Hungry," "Dead of Summer," and more. He also creatively directed multiple shoots, including those promoting "Yum & Hungry," "13 Nights of Halloween" with Grammy-nominee/pop superstar Charli XCX, and a mondo shoot for the cast of "Switched at Birth," featuring Oscar-winner Marlee Matlin.

Silverman's most memorable work was his "House" promo that took Super Bowl 2011 by storm:

Steve Silverman began his career at the WB Network as a writer-producer, working on "Gilmore Girls," "Charmed," "Reba," and other hit series. He went on to write, produce and edit promos and marketing materials at CBS, where he oversaw the number one show on television, "Touched By An Angel."

Silverman next landed at Bravo as a senior writer-producer-editor, launching the smash-hit "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy." He went on to hold the same position at NBC, overseeing the number one show of the time, "The Apprentice." After a short stint at ABC, Steve landed at FOX as a senior writer-producer, and was then promoted to Creative Manager, where he marketed and produced promos for "American Idol," "The Simpsons," "The X-Factor," and others.

Silverman also spent time developing promotional marketing campaigns while working with Stun Creative, Johnson & Murphy, and Studio City.

As a director, Silverman has directed Whoopi Goldberg, Reba McEntire, Jane Lynch, Mindy Kaling, Zooey Deschanel, Cloris Leachman, Dakota Johnson, Nat Faxon, Leeza Gibbons, Joan Van Ark, Genie Francis, Deidre Hall, the casts of "Empire," "The X-Factor," "Reba," and the fab five stars from "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" on horseback, while on location on a dude ranch in Dallas.

Silverman's first web series was "Pretty," which he wrote, directed and produced. The series, comprised of 24 episodes over the course of 4 seasons, took home seven Independent Series Awards, making it the most awarded comedy series in the history of the ISAs. "Pretty" also received 5 nominations at the IAWTV Awards in Las Vegas; was featured three times on the KTLA Morning Show with Allie McKay, and is the only web series ever to be invited by the Television Academy to have its own Emmy panel discussion.

Silverman's follow-up web series include "The Inn," starring Emmy-winner Crystal Chappell, and "Club 5150," starring "Mad Men's" Crista Flanagan. Both series received critical-acclaim and multiple Independent Series Awards nominations.

He was also the co-Executive Producer on the digital series "Winterthorne," starring "Dallas" icon Linda Gray and "Dynasty" star Gordon Thomson. He received his first ever Emmy Award nomination for "Best Series" for his work on that show. "Winterthorne" cast members Kathleen Gati and Kevin Spiritas also received Emmy Award nominations for "Best Actress" and "Best Actor" respectively, for that series.

A critically-acclaimed playwright and director, with over twenty of his shows produced nation-wide, Silverman's projects include the musical "The Paisley Sisters Christmas Special," for which he co-wrote the book. Silverman recently finished the first draft of his fiction novel, "Home…And Other Four Letter Words."
