Mobile Production Teleprompter Uses Made Easy
July 27, 2021
We are Starr Teleprompter based in Toluca Lake, Ca. We bring some tools to make having a teleprompter on your set easy and accessible.
An easy set-up Studio teleprompter that handles 10", 15' or 17" prompter screens are placed on a Mathews Low-Boy stand with wheels and can literally roll up to the camera lens for a point and shoot production.
Tripod head mounts are available if the camera is going to be moving and for smaller teleprompter screens, we have the 15mm rail rig if your camera head will be panning or tilting during the teleprompter read.
For the field, pretty much the same thing. Our prompter monitors are connected to V-lock 90kwh batteries which last all day long and a video signal is received via HD wireless transmission which is also powered via battery. We also have our 15" 1000 nit high-bright monitors for outdoor usage.
Our prompter operator command post is from a wheeled rock n roller cart and a 500kwh hour battery stowed underneath for power which can last up to 7 hours alone. So that eliminates the constant need for AC power sources and long extension cords working outside. That contraption alone is also appreciated in the studio as well.
Hope we can meet your Teleprompter needs.
