While there's no dearth of remakes on the big and small screens, here's a piece of happy news that might just add to today's nostalgia quotient. So let's just get to it! Remember the TV shows you enjoyed as a kid? Well, there's a good chance you might catch them on air all over again on Nickelodeon. The network launched a YouTube channel called "The Splat" to bring back all the classics cartoons you've been missing.
The first video upload features a remix of classic Nickelodeon jingles as a soundtrack for clips from all-time favourite Nicktoons like Rugrats, The Ren & Stimpy Show, Rocko's Modern Life, and CatDog, among others. If the buzz this has created is anything to go by, the channel is going to bring back major memories from your childhood.
But that's not all! Nickelodeon has also launched an official website for "The Splat", which includes links to its social media profiles. "The Splat" can also be found on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Vine, Tumblr and Pinterest. The majority of its social profiles have already been filed with nostalgic posts.
