Shadow Hills, CA - Step and Repeat LA is a company that specializes in red carpet backdrops, or better known in the film and entertainment industry as 'step and repeats'. These backdrops feature an array of event sponsor logos that have been laid out in a step or diagonal pattern. Gold Meets Golden is a star-studded event that was held on January 6th at Equinox Sports Club's luxury lounge in West Los Angeles. The event brought together actors, artists, athletes and Olympians in celebration of Hollywood's award season, which kicks off in earnest with the 2018 Golden Globe Awards. Staying true to its "golden" theme, guests were offered champagne with gold flakes, gold-glazed fonuts (doughnuts that aren't fried) and golden-berry parfaits. The event attracted the likes of A-listers such as Cuba Gooding Jr., Naomi Campbell, Caitlin Jenner, and was hosted by Nicole Kidman.

For the red carpet entrance, Step and Repeat LA designed, printed, and custom-built a 10' high by 40' long media wall, which was constructed using a series of wooden wall flats brought together to create the full 40' length. Once the wall was constructed, a seamless cloth print featuring the step and repeat design was adhered to the surface for a smooth, aesthetic finish. Accompanying the 40' wall were lights, red velvet ropes and gold stanchions and over 80' of gold carpet.
