1st AD's In Los Angeles Maintaining Order
In Los Angeles productions and schedules are king. It is the assistant director’s role to keep track of the daily progress a film is making. Their job also includes preparing call sheets for that day, arranging logistics, keeping the order and checking out the case and crew. At one time this was the step that proceeded becoming a director but is no longer common to the industry as it once was.
