AFI has teamed with jeans-maker Levi's in a new contest calling on "creators, makers, visual thinkers" to share their vision of a better future. "Show us the Way," asks all those with the ability to look at nothing and see everything, to submit a treatment for a five-minute short film about "a tomorrow that is better than today." Each of the six (6) winners will receive $5,000 to make their film and a $500 Levi's wardrobe for their cast. AFI will help judge the contest and provide winning contestants ten (10) hours with an AFI mentor. All six films will have the opportunity to be showcased at AFI FEST in 2012, and all directors will be flown out to the event, all expenses paid, to present their vision in person.
