Sword Fight Training & Choreography

SWORD FIGHT TRAINING & CHOREOGRAPHY FOR ACCURATE PORTRAYALS

Sword fight training and choreography are essential for any stunt fighting performance where this activity is required in a script. Swords may include foils, sabers, epees, rapiers, flails or spears. Choreography is essential in a stunt so that both participants learn the moves necessary in responding to one another in the on-set fight sequence.

FENCING (TRAINING & CHOREOGRAPHY)

Fencing involves a family of combat sports using bladed weapons including foils, sabres, and epees. When this discipline is required in a script, an actor will often have to have training in the use of the weapons, as well as action choreography. Choreography may have to even implement the use of stunt technology involving wire rigging and/or custom prop design.
