Clothing refers to any covering for the human body. Vintage shops refer to stores with garments that are either new or second hand from the 1920's to 1980's. Thrift shops are retail locations operated by charitable organizations to raise money. Costumers will often search these types of stores when working on a historical production that requires clothing from a specific era so that costumes will not have to be designed. Some of these stores both rent and sell inventory.
