PRODUCT PLACEMENT A FORM OF ADVERTISEMENT
Product placement is also known as embedded marketing, as it involves placing product in an entertainment medium without specifically "advertising" it. In movies and television, these items may be set dressing or actual props that will be touched by a cast member. Strategically placing products or brands names in visual entertainment, even as a backdrop in a scene, is known as subliminal advertising.
