MAKEUP FX & PROSTHETICS CREATE UNIQUE CHARACTERS
Makeup utilizes cosmetics to alter a user's appearance. In the world of movie effects, the altering of one's appearance may extend to creating "creature looks" that are not in the normal human realm of coloring or texture. FX prosthetics uses sculpting, molding and casting techniques to create an appliance that will be placed on the actor or animated creature. These artificial prop devices can be constructed from foam latex, gelatin or silicone.
