Aquariums are constructed of glass or high strength acrylic plastic cubes or bowls consisting of at least one transparent side in which water dwelling plants or animals are kept. They may be used as props in many entertainment arenas. Water tanks are both the large, industrial storage units, and may be tanks created for special effects use. Wave-making tanks can create dozens of types of waves, up to 8' high, at the touch of a button, as well as various vertical and horizontal water effects.
