The Inland Empire Film Commission (IEFC) covers "27,000 square miles of filming opportunity" making it "Hollywood's Largest Backlot."
The IEFC officially represents the Counties of Riverside and San Bernardino in addition to the Cities of Big Bear Lake, Temecula, Barstow, Upland and Corona with offices in Victorville and Palm Springs.
We have everything from snow covered mountains to sand dunes and open deserts, 15 dry lakebeds to 16 lakes/reservoirs, cityscapes and urban sprawl, Victorian mansions to modern mansions, log cabins to shacks, 22 airports, casinos, agriculture (crops and orchards) to wineries and vineyards, from ranches to farms, streams to rivers, small towns in mountains to small towns in the desert, western towns to ghost towns, from drive-in theaters to move theaters to auditoriums to theatrical stages, from courthouses to jails, from elementary schools to universities, churches to cemeteries, windmills to solar farms, we have national parks, county parks and city parks, golf courses to baseball stadiums, fairgrounds to circuses, from trails to roads to highways to freeways to bridges and about everything in between.
We are also a one-stop permit office for the Barstow Bureau of Land Management and the United States Forest Service.
