Theatrical Labor, Stagehands

THEATRICAL LABOR (STAGEHANDS) FOR EVENT PRODUCTION

A stagehand is a person who works behind the scenes backstage in theatre, film, TV or on location at a performance venue. As part of the crew, they are responsible for setting up scenery, lighting, sound equipment, props, rigging and special effects for a production. They often also operate the systems during shows or taping, as well as repair and maintain the equipment. They are often I.A.T.S.E. union members, and may be employed on a freelance basis.
