Lingerie is a term used for fashionable and/or alluring undergarments designed to be visually appealing or erotic in fabrics like satin, silk and lace, and pertains to costuming women. Items may include vintage corsets, special bridal wear, etc. Hosiery refers to garments worn directly on the feet and legs, and applies to male or female talent when being dressed for a production. Sheer stockings held in place by garter belts are another example of sexy lingerie that might be required in costuming talent for a scene.
