CRAFT SERVICES MORE THAN CATERERS
In entertainment production, craft service refers to the crew department represented by IATSE, which provides food services & beverages to the film departments including camera, sound, electricians, grips, props, art director, set decorator, hair & makeup and background. Additionally, this department sets down lay-out boards and protects the set area, providing buffet style snacks and drinks throughout the day. (Catering is an outside service that provides hot meals to the set.)
