Connectors are devices used to join electrical circuits together. They may be clamps, cable ties, cable lacing, sleeves, a weave of extruded string, or a combination thereof. With all the electrical power necessary to support production equipment, these devices are essential to enabling the power to flow through cable assemblies.
A cable assembly, also known as a cable harness, is a string of cables and/or wires, which transmit informational signals as currents of energy. Binding the wires into assemblies better secures them against the adverse effects of vibrations, abrasions and moisture. Cable assemblies are essential to providing all the electrical power necessary to support production equipment or set or location.
